Using two predictive models captures two types of poor outcomes in knee arthroplasty: A multisite longitudinal cohort study
ConclusionsAppropriateness criteria and LCA estimates provided combined poor outcome estimates that were approximately double the commonly reported poor outcome of 20%. Rates of poor outcome could be reduced if clinicians screened patients using Appropriateness criteria and LCA predictors prior to surgery to optimize outcome. (Source: Arthritis and Rheumatology)

Association of Somatic TET2 Mutations With Giant Cell Arteritis
ConclusionsCH increases risk for development of GCA in a genotype-specific manner, with the greatest risk being conferred by the presence of mutations inTET2. SomaticTET2 mutations likewise increase the risk of GCA-associated vision loss. Integration of somatic genetic testing in GCA diagnostics may be warranted in the future. Characterizing the Neurobiological Mechanisms of Action of Exercise and Cognitive –Behavioral Interventions for Rheumatoid Arthritis Fatigue: A Magnetic Resonance Imaging Brain Study
ConclusionThe structural connection between the L-ICC and L-PCL appears to be a dominant mechanism for how both PEPs and CBAs reduce fatigue among patients with RA. This supports its potential as a substrate of fatigue neurobiology and a putative candidate for future targeting. (Source: Arthritis and Rheumatology)
