Molecules, Vol. 27, Pages 6350: Ocimum Species: A Review on Chemical Constituents and Antibacterial Activity
ti Satari Infection by bacteria is one of the main problems in health. The use of commercial antibiotics is still one of the treatments to overcome these problems. However, high levels of consumption lead to antibiotic resistance. Several types of antibiotics have been reported to experience resistance. One solution that can be given is the use of natural antibacterial products. There have been many studies reporting the potential antibacterial activity of the Ocimum plant. Ocimum is known to be one of the medicinal plants that have been used traditionally by local people. This plant contains components of secondary me...

Molecules, Vol. 27, Pages 5496: Recent Advances in Photocatalytic Oxidation of Methane to Methanol
ry Devianto Methane is one of the promising alternatives to non-renewable petroleum resources since it can be transformed into added-value hydrocarbon feedstocks through suitable reactions. The conversion of methane to methanol with a higher chemical value has recently attracted much attention. The selective oxidation of methane to methanol is often considered a “holy grail” reaction in catalysis. However, methanol production through the thermal catalytic process is thermodynamically and economically unfavorable due to its high energy consumption, low catalyst stability, and complex reactor ...

Parents' priorities for decision-making of pediatric epilepsy treatments and perceived needs for decision support in multi-ethnic Asian clinical setting: A qualitative analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Findings suggest that multiple priorities influenced ASD decision process. To address support needs of parents for informed decision-making, more consideration should be given to post-treatment decision support through the provision of educational opportunities, building peer support networks, and developing a novel communication channel between healthcare providers and parents.PMID:35986955 | DOI:10.1016/j.yebeh.2022.108880 (Source: Epilepsy and Behaviour)

Sensors, Vol. 22, Pages 5811: A Hybrid Price Auction-Based Secure Routing Protocol Using Advanced Speed and Cosine Similarity-Based Clustering against Sinkhole Attack in VANETs
eongku An In ad-hoc vehicle networks (VANETs), the random mobility causes the rapid network topology change, which leads to the challenge of the reliable data transmission. In this paper, we propose a hybrid-price auction-based secure routing (HPA-SR) protocol using advanced speed and cosine similarity-based (ASCS) clustering to establish a secure route to avoid sinkhole attacks and improve connectivity between nodes. The main features and contributions of the proposed HPA-SR protocol are as follows. First, the HPA-SR protocol is employed by the first- and second-price auctions to avoid sinkhole attacks. More specifica...
