Molecular mimic between cardiovascular diseases and microorganism antigens
CONCLUSION: Human actin and HSPs share a high degree of conservation with epitopes from various microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi and protozoa, suggesting molecular mimicry and cross-reactivity as a mechanism for the development of atherosclerosis, heart disease rheumatic disease, myocarditis and Chagas heart disease. Efficacy and safety of seven Chinese patent medicines combined with conventional triple/quadruple therapy for Helicobacter pylori-positive peptic ulcers: a systematic review and network meta-analysis
Conclusion Among the combination therapies with the CPMs, Jianweiyuyang+T/Q might be the most favourable option for H. pylori-positive peptic ulcers, followed by Kangfuxin+T/Q.
