CONCLUSIONS: TD can exacerbate the disorder of glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with T1DM, and multiple insulin autoantibodies positive T1DM patients it is more likely to have thyroid autoantibody positivity. Is total thyroidectomy more difficult in Hashimoto's thyroiditis?
CONCLUSION: The mean time for operation and mean time for reaching RLN in patients with HT was significantly longer than in patients with other benign pathology results. It has been scientifically shown that HT should be among the causes of difficult thyroidectomy. Increased Thyroid DPP4 Expression is Associated with Inflammatory Process in Patients with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
CONCLUSIONS: The DPP4 expression was significantly increased in the thyroid of the HT group than in the control group, and mainly localized in the lymphocytes. Inhibition of lymphocyte DPP4 activity reduced the production of inflammatory factors in co-cultured thyroid cells. Prognosis and influencing factors of follicular thyroid cancer
ConclusionsHistologic subtype, nodule size, and distant metastasis are important risk factors for the prognosis of follicular thyroid cancer. Patients with metastatic follicular thyroid cancer have a poor prognosis, especially with metastasis at the time of initial diagnosis.
