Groin hernia containing bladder diverticula Report of two cases and review of the literature.
We report two cases of groin herniation of bladder diverticula with different clinical presentation and evolution; bladder diverticula are rarely involved in the pathogenesis of groin hernias. A differential diagnosis is to be made mainly with a common groin hernia. A correct anamnesis, a careful physical examination and a correct diagnostic pattern, including cystography, CT and US scans, are needed. Surgery is recommended when specific symptoms appear, or if an urothelial cancer grows within a diverticulum. KEY WORDS: Diverticulum, Groin hernia, Uretheral cancer. The TLC-NOSF (Technology Lipido-Colloid Plus Nano-Oligo Saccharide Factor) protease inhibitor for the treatment of ulceration in rheumatic disease A case report.
Authors: Scarpa C, Vindigni V, Bassetto F Abstract Cutaneous Lupus Erithematosus is one of the most common manifestation of Systemic Lupus Erithematosus and can be featured by the onset of cutaneous vasculitis which can bring to skin ulcers, expecially on the extremities. The "common" aetiopathogenesis can be summarized as following: 1) an antiself response to the endothelial cells which brings to frequent ischemic or thrombotic episodes, 2) the drugs therapy; recently authors have been demostrated a correlation between Metalloproteinase Matrix (MMP) and Cutaneous LES. Here we present the case of a 33 y.o...

Fistulization between liver hydatid cyst and gallbladder. A case report and review of the literature.
In conclusion, cholecysto-hydatid cyst fistula is an extremely rare complication of hydatid cyst disease even in endemic regions. The gold standard for the diagnosis is the combined use of characteristics of clinical presentation, biochemical parameters, and radiological studies. Treatment plan is designed on the basis of the relationship of a fistulized cyst with other bile ducts. KEY WORD: Cholecysto-Hydatid Cyst Fistula, Gallbladder, Hydatid Cyst, Liver. We report a case of segmental hepatic infarction following the adjuvant chemotherapy with Oxaliplatin and Capecitabine in a patient who had undergone total gastrectomy and distal esophagectomy for gastric cancer. Liver infarction is usually managed by conservative therapy; interventional procedures such as percutaneous imaging-guided drainage or surgical evacuation should be reserved in cases where septic complications occur, with development of a hepatic abscess from the necrotic area. It is important to avoid misdiagnoses with liver metastases in order to define the most appropriate clinical management strategy. KEY WORD...

Giant pedunculated colonic lipoma causing colo-colic intussusception in a patient with mechanical ileus.
Authors: Gumus S, Yalav O, Erdogan O, Teke Z Abstract A giant colonic lipoma causing colo-colonic intussusception is extremely rare in adults. A 35-year-old woman visited our emergency room with abdominal pain, abdominal distension, nausea and vomiting. Physical examination showed a painful distended abdomen. Abdominal computed tomography revealed that there was a soft-tissue mass with a fat density of approximately 6 cm in diameter in the distal part of the transverse colon. Since the clinical presentation was that of a mechanical ileus, a laparotomy was performed. An intussusception was detected in the transvers ...
