The leaders behind the proposed Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine have reached a significant milestone this week that will green light several next steps.
On Wednesday, the under-construction medical school announced that it had achieved candidacy status from the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation, the agency that grants approval for colleges and programs that plan to offer osteopathic medicine degrees.
