Quality of life among people living with mental illness and predictors in Africa: a systematic review and meta-analysis
ConclusionsThe current systematic review and meta-analysis showed that almost half of patients with mental illness had poor QoL. Being illiterate, having a comorbid medical condition, having a low monthly income, having positive symptoms, and having negative symptoms of mental illness were independent predictors of poor QoL. This systematic review and meta-analysis emphasize that poor QoL of people with mental illness in Africa needs attention to reduce its negative consequences. (Source: Quality of Life Research)

Isolation and Identification of < em > Pasteurella multocida < /em > and < em > Mannheimia haemolytica < /em > from Pneumonic Small Ruminants and Their Antibiotic Susceptibility in Haramaya District, Eastern Ethiopia
CONCLUSION: This study showed that M. haemolytica and P. multocida are the common causes of mannheimiosis and pasteurellosis in small ruminants, respectively, and isolates were resistant to commonly used antibiotics in the study area. CONCLUSION: The magnitude of thrombocytopenia in this study was 14.8%. Rural residence, cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, and anemia were significantly associated with thrombocytopenia. CONCLUSION: Uncontrolled hypertension was found to be high among hypertension comorbid type 2 diabetic patients.
