Credentialling in peripheral
So, I'm sure I'm not the first interventional cardiologist with peripheral vascular training that is having trouble getting credentialing due to "turf" issues. Any ideas of how to navigate this situation or do I need to start looking for employment elsewhere if I want to continue peripheral? I thought about moonlighting but I don't know how many opportunities there are for moonlighting in peripheral vascular. Any thoughts or advice would be great. Hi all -
Looking for some outside perspective.

Biden administration tax changes
How many of you will consider changing your employment status knowing that all these changes are looming around the corner?
Hate to say it but my drive to bust my butt and make >400k takes a serious nose dive when my marginal tax rate above this threshold is 40%, I’m suddenly paying 25% capital gains rate, and “loopholes” such as the ability to save modest amounts of money through a backdoor Roth are closed.
Meanwhile people that make in excess of 5 million a year are facing a modest 3%...

TB Quantiferon Gold positive -_-
Went through pre employment health screening and my TB Quantiferon gold is officially now positive.
Getting chest xray obviously. But has anyone gone through workman's comp for these things? I mean i obviously got exposed at work at some point.

AMCAS Mistake - Listed non-clinical volunteering as paid employment
As I was picking out competencies for a school on a secondary portal, I selected my volunteering experience and it popped up as "paid employment - not medical/clinical." Sure enough, on my AMCAS I listed it as paid employment. I cannot believe I missed this when reviewing my AMCAS app. Is it worth reaching out to schools so that they're aware?
