What is needed for eating disorder prevention for transgender and gender diverse young adults? Findings from asynchronous online focus groups
Body Image. 2023 Dec 14;48:101667. doi: 10.1016/j.bodyim.2023.101667. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTTransgender and gender diverse (TGD) young adults face higher risk of eating disorder (ED) symptoms than cisgender peers. Evidence-based ED prevention programs exist but must be adapted to meet the needs of diverse TGD populations. We conducted eight asynchronous online focus groups in 2019 with 66 ethnically and gender diverse TGD young adults (18-30 years) living in the United States. Participants were recruited online; groups took place over four consecutive days. We conducted inductive thematic analysis of participant re...

Evaluation of the Effect of Lorlatinib on CYP2B6, CYP2C9, UGT, and P-Glycoprotein Substrates in Patients with Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
CONCLUSIONS: Lorlatinib is a net moderate inducer of P-gp and a weak inducer of CYP2B6, CYP2C9, and UGT after steady state is achieved with daily dosing. Medications that are P-gp substrates with a narrow therapeutic window should be avoided in patients taking lorlatinib; no dose modifications are needed with substrates of CYP2B6, CYP2C9, or UGT.CLINICALTRIALS: gov: NCT01970865.PMID:38079095 | DOI:10.1007/s40262-023-01309-4 (Source: Clinical Lung Cancer)

Prostate volume variation during 1.5T MR-guided adaptive stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and correlation with treatment toxicity
CONCLUSION: the present study reported a significant prostate volume change during prostate SBRT on 1.5T MR-linac. We observed both prostate swelling in half of cases and few cases of prostate shrinkage. No correlations were found with PROMs in this population treatment with daily-adaptive strategy.PMID:38056694 | DOI:10.1016/j.radonc.2023.110043 (Source: Radiotherapy and Oncology : journal of the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology)

Effects of temperature, humidity, light, and soil on drug stability in hair: a preliminary study for estimating personal profiles using micro-segmental analysis of corpse hair
ConclusionsAlthough the exposure to sunlight and storage in soil for long times made drug-distribution analysis difficult, MSA could be applied even to hair strands collected from corpses left in severe environments. (Source: Forensic Toxicology)

Prostate volume variation during 1.5T MR-guided adaptive stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) and correlation with treatment toxicity
In the last years, Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) has demonstrated to be an effective and safe treatment option for localized prostate cancer (PCa) in low and intermediate-risk patients, by producing comparable results to conventional and softly-hypofractionated schedules [1 –3]. Prostate SBRT requires high precision in patients' positioning to ensure an accurate dose delivery. Prostate SBRT is generally characterized by a low rate of side effects, and few predictive factors are available to identify the early onset of symptoms [4]. (Source: Radiotherapy and Oncology)

The Effects of Jabara Juice on the Intestinal Permeation of Fexofenadine
In this study, we investigated the effects of jabara juice on the intestinal absorption of fexofenadine in mice and the inhibitory effects of jabara juice and narirutin on the permeation of fexofenadine using Caco-2 cell monolayers and LLC-GA5-COL300 cell monolayers. In the in vivo study, the area under the plasma concentration-time curve (AUC) of fexofenadine in mice was increased 1.8-fold by jabara juice. In the permeation study, 5% jabara juice significantly decreased the efflux ratio (ER) of fexofenadine for Caco-2 monolayers. Furthermore, the ERs of fexofenadine and digoxin, which is a typical substrate of P-glycoprot...
