Seeking Advice for enhance application
Hello! I’m a current applicant for the 28 cycle
Since my current work concludes next month, I hope to receive some advice. I've applied to several schools in this application cycle, but just in case I don't get accepted, I want to start planning my next step, but I'm not quite sure how to enhance my application.

How do people pay for expensive schools like NYU and USC?

VA HPSP and Army Reserve MDSSP at same time? And other questions about the programs
Hello! I’m currently applying to medical schools and was initially considering doing the Navy HPSP but after going through the pros and cons I realized that military HPSP is not the best option for me since I’m considering a competitive speciality and want to go through the civilian match. However I also don’t want to take out loans so after doing some research I learned about the VA HPSP as well as the MDSSP, and I am planning on applying for both in the near future.

Where did I go wrong in my application?
I am a re-applicant with a 516 MCAT and 3.6x GPA (upward trend) and I am starting to feel down again this cycle. I am grateful to be admitted to 5 DO schools but was hoping that I would have more success with MD schools this cycle. Neuroscience Research Graduation with Distinction worth it?
I'm an undergraduate third-year premed student at Duke University and a Neuroscience major. I've been involved in research since freshman year and am currently in a Neuroscience lab. Networking at a conference?
Hi everyone,
I recently learned I'll be able to attend the SNMA region 1 RMEC in January! I have never attended a conference before and in addition to attending the various workshops, I'm hoping to network with a few schools while I'm there (per some of the advice I received in my WAMC. Do you all have any tips or recommendations in terms of making the best out of the weekend? Besides dressing business casual and smiling a lot I'm not really sure where to start!

Preparing for interviews

I know for interviews it’s a good idea to ask the interviewers questions at the end. I was thinking it could be helpful if we all add ideas to this on what to ask them!

Do schools actually use LizzyM scores?
I see for instance, Rush medical college has GPA/ MCAT combination cutoffs. So for instance, if you have around 3.0 GPA, they want your MCAT to be around 510, if above 3.8 GPA, they want your MCAT around 500. This leads me to wonder if other schools also have the same LizzyM style of criteria for admissions. I am aware of more holistic applications and the top schools being too picky with both high GPA and high MCAT scores, so I am referring to schools that are more holistic in their review...
