Can med schools see all versions of update letters?
Hi! This is really neurotic, but I realized that I calculated hours wrong for my activities in my update letters. If I delete and resubmit or edit which document is submitted, can the schools see the first version. On my end, I think I'll only be able to see the most recent document, but I don't know if admissions can see everything. I uploaded them about five days ago thanks! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

WAMC: Top heavy, ORM gap years
Hello, I will be applying this upcoming 2025 cycle and finished a draft of my primary. Exploring secondary prompts and want to make sure the schools I plan on writing secondaries for make sense. Interested in top schools. 2 gap years (in first gap year right now). cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS cGPA - 3.85 (other GPA: 4.0, 4.0, 4.0, 4.0) sGPA - 3.75 (3.9, 3.3, 3.6, 4.0) MCAT score(s) and breakdown 518 (130/128/130/130) State of... Where do I go from here?
Because of some bad advice I was given as well as poor decision making on my part, I applied to only 12 MD schools this past cycle and submitted all of my secondaries in September. Needless to say, it's not looking good for me right now. I have 2 Rs, 2 holds (so 2 soft Rs), and radio silence. Unfortunately, due to family issues, I have not done anything from September until now to bolster my application for this upcoming cycle. I have just now gotten a job as a medical assistant which I will... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Health disclosures as a doctor
I'm sure that I'm just being too nervous about this, but I was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder a few years ago. I was given a SSRI for it at the time, but I got off it once I graduated and had fewer stressors. Since I've been admitted to medical schools, I'm planning on starting them back up. From what I hear, it sounds like a lot of med students and residents are on SSRIs anyways, but I've been wondering what disclosure looks like for me here on out. I can handle my anxiety... I have yet to hear from 21 schools that I applied to since July and it's January, what do I do?
Hello, I applied back in July to 35 schools and so far, I have received 13 denials, 3 II, and 0 acceptances. However, the other 21 schools I have applied to still have not reached out to me and its been 7 months. Should I send them a letter of interest to show them that I'm still interested? I don't know what to do in this situation and I would greatly appreciate any help I can get. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Advice please!!!
Hello, I just need some advice. I graduated undergrad spring 2022 with a 3.381 undergrad GPA as a molecular bio major. I'm URM (Mexican - Spanish is primary language), 25 y/o, and first-gen. I applied this cycle to 18 MD schools with FAP, however, due to my MCAT score, I got screened out of the majority of my schools. I've currently only applied to Tulane, FSU, and working on UM secondary (got extension due to technical difficulties). I'm also applying to at least 10 DO and that's also a... APPIC Interview - How to know if the interview went well or not?
Hi there! I feel so lost. To be honest, this past academic year has been a rollercoaster and a half, and honestly, the interviews feel like a blur too because I feel like I cannot assess them properly. In the past, I have been able to be confident in my interviews (for jobs or graduate schools) and do relatively well on them, but this interview season feels like another beast all together. Do you all have any advice on how to tell if the interview went well or not? And also, if you matched... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

WAMC - Nontrad Career Changer ~3.4 cGPA, ~3.6 sGPA 509 MCAT
Hello again, yall. Unfortunately the cycle has ended very unsuccessfully for me, with zero II. My best guess for this is that I hadn't completed enough science coursework for schools to be confident with my app. That should be fixed this time around with all of the prereqs under my belt and a couple of advanced classes planned for summer/fall. I'm also working on redrafting most of my secondaries and getting another round of edits on my primary. I felt confident with most of my writing, but... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

What's the latest I can take the MCAT this year and still apply at the earliest possible time?
My GPA kinda sucks so I'm trying to apply as early as possible to give myself the biggest advantage I can. Right now my MCAT is scheduled for April 28th because applications are sent to medical schools late May. Is this the right move or can I delay it even more (I feel a bit behind on studying). Thanks!! Academic Infraction - What is the likelihood of receiving interviews?
Hello, Let me preface with nothing will stop me from applying to schools. This is the report from the Dean of Students office on my infraction: The student in violation contacted Dr. ____ regarding a grade received on an assignment in our course. When we followed-up for additional information, the student produced screenshots of a revision history and a submission receipt. Upon closer inspection of the submission receipt, it was clear that the submission receipt was not genuine and had... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Wamc?
Canadian here. I wrote the dat a little late and ended up submitting my apps end of October. 20AA, 3.9 cGPA, 3.89 science GPA. Around 1200 hours of shadowing and volunteering in dental settings along with a short employment in sterile bay. One dental mission abroad. 4th quartile casper. Applied to like 18 schools. All private. Boston and NSU already rejected, but no response at all from the rest yet. What do ya'll think my chances are at this point? My top choices would've been, in order...
