Clinical characteristics of cerebral hemorrhage with bilateral sudden deafness as the first symptom
ConclusionThe results showed that patients were mostly middle-aged and elderly with no typical stroke symptoms, and a history of stroke and hypertension increased the risk of hearing loss. The cause of hearing loss in patients with cerebral hemorrhage may be related to the damage of the hearing conduction pathway or (and) the lack of blood supply to the central auditory nervous system. Detecting hearing impairment in time and actively intervening can help most patients to improve their hearing significantly. The degree of hearing damage and recovery is related to the bleeding site, the amount of bleeding, and the timely treatment.

Ticagrelor Is Superior to Clopidogrel in Inhibiting Platelet Reactivity in Patients With Minor Stroke or TIA
Conclusions: Ticagrelor is superior to clopidogrel in inhibiting platelet reactivity measured by the PL platelet function analyzer among patients with acute minor stroke or TIA. Our study confirmed the finding of the main analysis of PRINCE trial in a different assay. Clinical and Radiological Outcomes After Revascularization of Hemorrhagic Moyamoya Disease
Conclusion: Direct revascularization may be superior to indirect revascularization for prevention of rebleeding and poor neurological outcome in adults with hemorrhagic MMD. The risk of postoperative rebleeding was higher in those with untreated aneurysms, repetitive bleeding episodes, normal perfusion status, and indirect revascularization. The regression of original collaterals and establishment of revascularization collaterals after revascularization were more significant in hemispheres with direct revascularization than those with indirect revascularization.

Aspirin or anticoagulation after cryptogenic stroke with patent foramen ovale: systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
ConclusionOur meta-analysis shows that anticoagulation confers no net benefit in recurrent stroke prevention over antiplatelets in patients with PFO-related stroke. RoPE score might help in selecting patients benefiting from anticoagulation, but further trials are needed to delineate risk/benefit profile of anticoagulation.

Cerebral Small Vessel Disease among US minority Survivors of Intracerebral Hemorrhage
Black and Hispanic survivors of Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH) are at higher risk of recurrent intracranial bleeding when compared to their white counterparts. While established differences in hypertension severity after ICH play a role, they do not fully account for this health disparity. MRI-based markers of chronic Cerebral Small Vessel Disease (CSVD) are consistently associated with increased risk of recurrent ICH. We therefore sought to investigate whether differences in CSVD subtype and/or severity exist among self-reported race/ethnicity groups.
