Web-based psychoeducational interventions for managing cognitive impairment –a systematic review
ConclusionWeb-based cognitive intervention programs are a new approach to rehabilitation and patient education. The evidence, although scarce, shows that web-based interventions are feasible and support subjective cognitive functioning. However, the literature to date is extremely limited and the quality of the studies is weak. Risk of intracranial hemorrhage with direct oral anticoagulation versus low molecular weight heparin in the treatment of brain tumor-associated venous thromboembolism: A meta-analysis
Direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) are effective in treating cancer-related thrombosis and are superior to low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) in terms of efficacy. The effects of DOACs or LMWH on intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) remain uncertain in individuals with brain tumors. We conducted a meta-analysis to compare the frequency of ICH in individuals with brain tumors treated with DOACs or LMWH.

Reframing Lesional Epilepsy as a Network Disease
The question why some brain lesions cause epilepsy whereas other do not has remained unanswered for the past century. Lesions are the leading identifiable cause of epilepsy in adults, especially in individuals older than 55 years. But, only 6% of those with stroke, 9% of those with intracerebral hemorrhage, and approximately 40% of those with brain tumors have lesional epilepsy. Carnosol Inhibits Cerebral Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury by Promoting AMPK Activation
CONCLUSION: Carnosol has a protective effect on ischemic stroke, and this effect is achieved through AMPK activation.
