ConclusionMachine learning-based evaluation of pc-ASPECTS regions predicts functional outcome of pc-stroke patients with higher accuracy than conventional assessments. This could optimize triage for additional diagnostics and allocation of best possible medical care and might allow required arrangements of the social environment at an early point of time.

CONCLUSION: Studies suggest that endovascular techniques are effective and safe in the treatment of ischemic stroke. Greater efficiency is characterized by intraarterial thrombolysis. Patients who were treated endovascular improved significantly.

Stent-based thrombectomy versus intravenous tissue plasminogen activator in acute ischaemic stroke: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
CONCLUSION: Stentrievers can achieve a high rate of recanalisation and functional independence in acute ischaemic stroke and have a relatively good safety profile. Our meta-analysis demonstrates a clear benefit of an intra-arterial mechanical approach vs standard treatment.

First-line lesional aspiration in acute stroke thrombectomy using a novel intermediate catheter: Initial experiences with the SOFIA.
CONCLUSIONS: Lesional aspiration with SOFIA is in line with published data. The SOFIA may be used as a first-line device, aiming at fast recanalization by sole aspiration with good safety and efficacy. If unsuccessful, it converts into part of a stent retriever-based multimodality treatment.

Women have a poorer very long-term functional outcome after stroke among adults aged 18–50 years: the FUTURE study
In conclusion, 14 years after an ischemic cerebrovascular event in young adults, one out of five IS survivors and one out of ten TIA survivors is still dependent in daily life, with a two to threefold higher risk of a poor outcome in women. This includes a period of life, during which important decisions regarding work and family life have to be made.

Real-world treatment of large vessel occlusions: combined outcomes of directly presenting and transferred-in patients to a stroke center.
Conclusion High rates of favorable angiographic and clinical outcomes were found among AIS patients receiving ET in our single-center experience, particularly among transferred in patients. The establishment of a stroke network may help in the efficient transfer and assembly of appropriate resources for eligible patients that are transferred in for ET.

Mechanical Thrombectomy in Acute Ischemic Stroke Using a Manually Expandable Stent Retriever (Tigertriever) : Preliminary Single Center Experience.
CONCLUSION: The Tigertriever offers a safe and effective treatment option in ischemic stroke due to LVOs with reperfusion rates and a safety profile similar to alternative devices. The Tigertriever is a promising bail-out tool in complex cases. Its role as a first line device has to be evaluated in further prospective studies.
