Conclusion High rates of favorable angiographic and clinical outcomes were found among AIS patients receiving ET in our single-center experience, particularly among transferred in patients. The establishment of a stroke network may help in the efficient transfer and assembly of appropriate resources for eligible patients that are transferred in for ET. CONCLUSIONS: We present a 21 patients group where the best outcome was achieved in patients ≤60 years old. The severe neurological sequelae in patients with malignant infarction subjected to decompressive hemicraniectomy are tolerated and accepted by most families to the benefit of survival. Conclusion: Total SVD burden negatively associated with functional outcome at 3 months in patients with acute ischemic stroke and is superior to individual SVD feature in prediction of functional outcome.
