Association of hemoglobin glycation index with outcomes of acute ischemic stroke in type 2 diabetic patients.
Conclusion Both low HGI and high HGI was associated with an increased risk of poor prognosis in diabetic patients with ischemic stroke, compared with moderate HGI.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) is a well-known risk factor of atherosclerotic vascular diseases. Nevertheless, its role in the acute phase of ischemic stroke is still unclear. The aim of this study is to identify the relationship between Lp-PLA2 levels and early neurological deterioration (END) in acute ischemic stroke patients with Trial of Org 10 172 in Acute Stroke Treatment (TOAST) subtype of large arterial atherosclerosis (LAA).

Factors associated with medication persistence among ischemic stroke patients: a systematic review.
Conclusions: Stroke patients' medication persistence decreases over time, and persistence on antiplatelets, anticoagulants, and statin was poor. Several factors were associated with medication persistence, and these factors should be considered in future secondary preventative strategies.

Screening for cognitive impairment with the montreal cognitive assessment at six months after stroke and transient ischemic attack.
CONCLUSION: The MoCA-Beijing cutoff score for differentiating CI from NCI after stroke and TIA at six months was at 24/25, and it is important for routine clinical practice.

Application of the P300 potential in cognitive impairment assessments after transient ischemic attack or minor stroke.
Conclusions The P300 latency delay can be used to detect cognitive impairments in patients after TIA/minor stroke and the P300-Fz latency is more sensitive for diagnosing cognitiveimpairments in TIA/minor stroke patients.
