Total endovascular repair of the aortic arch: initial experience in the Netherlands
ConclusionsTotal endovascular aortic arch repair using the Relay Branch device is technically feasible and effective in excluding aortic arch pathology. The observed stroke rate in the initial experience, however, was considerable. Although appealing, this new lesser-invasive technique should be carefully introduced, and its progress thoroughly evaluated.

Conclusions: This literature domain currently provides an unclear picture as to how memory limitations affect participation in stroke and stroke-related aphasia. IMPLICATIONS FOR REHABILITATION A broad range of subjective memory measures have been used to determine stroke survivors' perceptions of their everyday memory issues. Design and rationale of ischaemia-driven complete revascularisation versus usual care in patients with non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction and multivessel coronary disease: the South Limburg Myocardial Infarction (SLIM) trial.

Effect of sildenafil on maternal hemodynamics in pregnancies complicated by severe early-onset fetal growth restriction: planned subgroup analysis from a multicenter randomized placebo-controlled double-blind trial.
CONCLUSIONS: Sildenafil in a dose of 25 mg three times daily increases HR, reduces BP and reduces arterial stiffness in pregnancies complicated by FGR. These changes are modest, consistent with the anticipated vasodilatory effect and their clinical impact on the mother and baby, in both the short- and long-term, remains uncertain. Association Between Primary Care Practitioner Empathy and Risk of Cardiovascular Events and All-Cause Mortality Among Patients With Type 2 Diabetes: A Population-Based Prospective Cohort Study.
CONCLUSIONS: Positive patient experiences of practitioner empathy in the year after diagnosis of type 2 diabetes may be associated with beneficial long-term clinical outcomes. Further work is needed to understand which aspects of patient perceptions of empathy might influence health outcomes and how to incorporate this understanding into the education and training of practitioners.

Left atrial appendage closure in atrial fibrillation patients with prior major bleeding or ineligible for oral anticoagulation.
CONCLUSIONS: Percutaneous LAAC may provide an alternative strategy to long-term OAC therapy in AF patients with a high bleeding risk. During follow-up, both ischaemic stroke and recurrent bleeding rates were lower than expected based on the CHA2DS2-VASc and HAS-BLED scores respectively.

Development and validity of an innovative test to assess guideline-consistent clinical reasoning by physical therapists in stroke rehabilitation.
CONCLUSION: The script concordance test has good construct validity. Greater self-reported guideline knowledge, successful completion of the post-bachelor Dutch Neurorehabilitation course, as well as systematic participation in professional development activities facilitate important factors that enhance specialization. The script concordance test is a valid feedback tool for physical therapists to support professional development in the domain of stroke rehabilitation.
