Johns Hopkins ($0 Debt) vs WashU ($0 Debt) vs Duke (Will Have to Take out ~45k/Per Year in Loans)
As the 04/30 deadline approaches, I become increasingly torn between these three schools. I’m leaning more toward Hopkins, and I’ll explain why below. How much to expect for covering someones practice
I have a friend who has a fairly boutique private practice, and will need several weeks coverage over the course of the next year. What might be a reasonable amount to get paid for this? BPD and ADHD comorbidity
There is a subset of BPD patients that I see that checks all the boxes for ADHD criteria. Best ways to get referrals from y'all?
I'm a psychiatrist and potentially starting a private practice from 0. Would take major insurances, some Medicaid, no Medicare. Open to seeing pretty much anything other than ASPD/long criminal histories, but would like to keep substance use disorders to a minimum. Happy to see eating disorders, functional problems, ADHD, autism evals, in addition to the basic depression and anxiety.

Attending subspecialty conferences during intern year?
I matched into psychiatry for the incoming 2024 cohort starting in July. I have long wanted to pursue forensic psychiatry even during undergrad, and I can see that while fellowships in general are not competitive, the more "prestigious" programs are getting more selective over time.

Offer is 36 patient hours, all virtual/remote, 100% outpatient. 60 intake/30 follow up. flexible hours and can do 3 12s, 4 9s, etc.
300k guaranteed + benefits. wRVU beyond that.
40k student loan/year/5 years and 50k sign on.
No weekends or call.
No supervising NPs/student unless desired and there is extra stipend.
Anything you would try to change/negotiate? It's remote and they need docs.
