Tonghua Liyan granules in the treatment of Laryngopharyngeal reflux disease with stagnation of phlegm and qi syndrome: a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study
Conclusion: Compared with PPIs alone, THLY granules combined with PPIs are more effective in the treatment of LPRD patients with SPQS in terms of symptoms and signs. The combined use of anti-peptic agents is associated with an increased risk of osteoporotic fracture: a nationwide case-control study
CONCLUSIONS: This study found that the combined use of "PPI and H2RA" was associated with a higher risk of osteoporotic fractures. Proton pump inhibitor (PPI) therapy is an emerging treatment for eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), a chronic allergic disease characterized by food —mediated type 2 immunity and esophageal inflammation.
