Ethical dilemma in essay
Hi all, In one of my jobs, I noticed someone clocking in and out incorrectly and when I confronted them, it was apparent they were doing this to get extra hours and I eventually put a stop to it. I plan to write about this in secondary essays but worry if what I did was enough, ethically speaking? Did I have a responsibility to report her past behavior to supervisors? Any opinions would be appreciated (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Ethical guidelines on private practice after-hours coverage
Hi all, I am in the process of starting up a solo private practice and was wondering psychologists are required to provide after-hours coverage and/or be on-call 24/7 in the private practice setting. I am trying to figure out whether I need to pay for an after-hours answering service, or if I can just say in my voicemail message what my hours are (they will be normal business hours, maybe a couple of evenings) and if patients receive this message after hours and are having a clinical... Advice on which LOR to submit
I have a committee letter and have to choose one more for the optional for TMDSAS. I have on one hand -professor, 2 years of research together, received A’s in both of her classes, however I know she’s busy and I wrote the LOR myself so not sure how “strong” it will be -MD who I shadowed and have known since I was a freshman in high school, knows my character extensively, can speak on my work ethic and how I treat others, I believe his letter will be strong... PLFSOM Faculty Misappropriating Funds. Taking Advantage of Students & Donors During Crisis
SDN Community, As a member of the Paul L. Foster class of 2020 I feel it is my moral as well as ethical obligation to bring to the attention of the wider medical community the ongoing abuse of student funds. The funds in question were acquired by the school through the direct billing of students for tuition and fees as well as through donations to the school by the community. Without going into too much detail, these funds were secured with the explicit purpose of being apportioned for... PLFSOM Faculty Misappropriating Funds. Are you ethically obligated to work for free if asked to do so during these times?

Is there any chance of receiving a scholarship coming off the waitlist?
Here’s my dilemma: School A has kindly offered me a very large scholarship that almost covers tuition, definitely can’t turn it down. I am on the waitlist at Columbia, and from what I’ve gathered, you essentially need to send a letter of intent to have a chance at making it off. The issue is, I wouldn’t choose Columbia if I had to pay 250k more to attend, so I don’t think it’s ethical to write a letter of intent if the cost of Columbia is set in stone. However, if there’s a chance that... Is there any chance of receiving a scholarship coming off the waitlist? (Source: Student Doctor Network)
