Evaluation of Biomarkers in Myoma Patients: A Prospective Study Investigating the Role of LDH, CA 125, and IGF-1 after Uterus-Preserving Surgical Therapy
Conclusion: Both LDH and IGF-1 dropped significantly in the immediate postoperative days in women with myomas after uterus-preserving surgeries were performed. The postoperative concentration of IGF-1 was correlated with the evidence of new myomas and can be potentially used for further monitoring. Future studies should be able to confirm these results. This study concludes that myomas do influence LDH and IGF-1 and could possibly be suitable as biomarkers.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)

Repeat Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery: A First Feasibility Study
Conclusions: In all patients in this case series, vNOTES hysterectomy after prior vNOTES adnexal surgery was successfully performed. Large-scale prospective trials with long-term follow-up are needed to evaluate the safety and feasibility of multiple consecutive vNOTES procedures in 1 patient.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)

Vitamin D3 Controls TLR4- and TLR2-Mediated Inflammatory Responses of Endometrial Cells
Conclusions: 1,25 (OH)2 D3 is an immunomodulatory molecule essential for maintaining endometrial immune homeostasis by controlling potentially harmful inflammatory responses associated with female reproductive tract infections.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)

Higher Levels of Triglyceride, Fatty Acid Translocase, and Toll-Like Receptor 4 and Lower Level of HDL-C in Pregnant Women with GDM and Their Close Correlation with Neonatal Weight
Conclusions: TG in maternal blood, TLR4 in the placenta and umbilical cord blood, and FAT/CD36 in the placenta were positively correlated with neonatal weight. However, HDL-C in maternal blood was negatively correlated with neonatal weight. Although the expression of LPL in the placenta reduced due to GDM, it had no correlation with neonatal weight.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)

Correlation of Fractional Limb Volume Measurements with Neonatal Morphometric Indices
Conclusions: AVoL measurements by 3D ultrasound before delivery are significantly correlated with most of the neonatal morphometric indices, independent of maternal characteristics and 2D biometric parameters. AVol may have advantages over TVol for assessing limb soft tissue development in term fetuses. Future research can focus on feasibility and predictive ability of AVol measurements in prospective studies that include serial biometry over time.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)

Nonhormonal Treatment for Endometriosis Focusing on Redox Imbalance
In conclusion, this review summarizes the following 2 points: superoxide anion generation by methemoglobin is enhanced in endometriosis, resulting in redox imbalance; and some compounds and natural substances that can suppress free radicals may be effective in endometriosis-related pain. Further randomized clinical trials based on larger series are mandatory to confirm the promising role of antioxidants in the nonhormonal management of endometriosis.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)

There is a Strong Association between Early Preeclampsia and Congenital Heart Defects: A Large Population-Based, Retrospective Study
Conclusion: PE, especially early-onset PE and severe PE, is strongly associated with offspring CHD. Our results help advance the current understanding of the association between PE and offspring CHD. So preventing PE and reducing PE may have a beneficial effect on the offspring CHD.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)

MNSF β Promotes the Proliferation and Migration of Human Extravillous Trophoblast Cells and the Villus Expression Level of MNSFβ Is Decreased in Recurrent Miscarriage Patients
Conclusion: These data suggested that MNSF β promotes proliferation and migration of human EVT cells, probably via the P53 signaling pathway, and the deficiency of MNSFβ in placental villi might lead to early pregnancy loss by reducing proliferation and invasion activities of EVTs.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)

Effect of MicroRNA-210 on the Growth of Ovarian Cancer Cells and the Efficacy of Radiotherapy
Conclusion: miR-210 can promote the proliferation, migration, and invasion of ovarian cancer cells by activating the AKT signaling pathway and regulating the expression of Epithelial-mesenchymal transition-related proteins. miR-210 can reduce the sensitivity of ovarian cancer cells to radiotherapy by inhibiting apoptosis, which might serve as a potential target for the treatment of ovarian tumors.Gynecol Obstet Invest (Source: Gynecologic and Obstetric Investigation)
