ConclusionPTL is a rare disease whose diagnosis should be considered in cases of rapidly growing goitres. Timely needle biopsy in suspected cases can avoid unnecessary surgery. Systemic treatment is required, depending on the stage of the tumour. (Source: Journal of Medical Case Reports)

Genetically predicted telomere length and the risk of 11 hematological diseases: a Mendelian randomization study
CONCLUSIONS: The MR analysis revealed a positive association between genetically predicted longer TL and an increased risk of developing ALL, AML, CLL, MANTLE, and HODGKIN. Case report: Sustained complete remission with all-oral MEPED therapy in a patient with Hodgkin ’s disease developing resistance to pembrolizumab
In conclusion, we demonstrate for the first time that MEPED therapy is highly effective in a patient with Hodgkin’s disease who has been refractory to ICPi. Sustained CR was achieved over 11 months after initiation of MEPED therapy. Further studies on a larger patient cohort should be performed. (Source: Frontiers in Pharmacology)

This study examines the temporal patterns of incidence, mortality, disability and risk factors of 29 cancers in Asia in the last three decades.METHODS: The age, sex and year-wise estimates of incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) of 29 cancers for 49 Asian countries from 1990 through 2019 were generated as a part of the Global Burden of Disease, Injuries and Risk Factors 2019 study. Prognostic significance of bone marrow fibrosis in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma
CONCLUSION: When the literature was reviewed, it was seen that this study was the first to define that bone marrow fibrosis grade 2 and above in DLBCL is a prognostic marker associated with worse survival.
