Mental health treatment experiences of commonwealth veterans from diverse ethnic backgrounds who have served in the UK military
Conclusion Our findings highlight some distinct barriers to mental health treatment that commonwealth veterans experience. The themes reported by the participants appear to suggest they had experience signs of institutional racism. Suggesting the importance of highlighting these issues, and to help overcome these potential barriers to accessing services. Given that commonwealth veterans involvement in the UK military is significant and increasing, the findings in this study should be used to support this population by implementing service provision and policy. Risk factors associated with the coexistence of stunting, underweight, and wasting in children under 5 from 31 sub-Saharan African countries
Conclusions Findings suggest the urgent need for consideration of the coexistence of stunting, wasting and underweight among under-5 children in policy design and programming of interventions to eradicate child malnutrition in SSA. In the short-term, national-level policies and interventions need to be well tailored considering the compositional characteristics. (Source: BMJ Open)

The Interplay Between Strictness of Policies and Individuals' Self-Regulatory Efforts: Associations with Handwashing During the COVID-19 Pandemic
CONCLUSIONS: When policies are less strict, exposure to the SARS-CoV-2 virus might be higher, triggering more self-regulation and, consequently, more handwashing adherence. Very strict policies may need to be accompanied by enhanced information dissemination or psychosocial interventions to ensure appropriate levels of self-regulation.PMID:34871341 | DOI:10.1093/abm/kaab102 (Source: Annals of Behavioral Medicine)
