Quality of life following LASIK surgery at a tertiary center in North India
CONCLUSIONS: The NEIRQL-42 is a responsive tool to evaluate vision-related changes in quality of life after LASIK surgery in the Indian population. The best surgical expectancy and QoL can be expected at 6 months following surgery.PMID:37850767 | PMC:PMC10644918 | DOI:10.23750/abm.v94i5.14791 (Source: Acta Bio-Medica : Atenei Parmensis)

Association between Fundus Tessellation and Contrast Sensitivity in Myopic Eyes
CONCLUSIONS: Patients with moderate and high myopia were more likely to have higher grades of fundus tessellation. Higher degree of fundus tessellation associates with lower contrast sensitivity. Patients with moderate and high myopia should be concerned with retinal-choroidal changes. Contrast sensitivity could be a clinical sign for progression of tessellation and used to screen for early retinal-choroidal changes to prevent pathologic myopia.PMID:37846084 | DOI:10.1080/02713683.2023.2269612 (Source: Current Eye Research)
