Can you be considered an expert on a topic with IM or FM?
If you are a PCP but have keen personal interest on a specific topic such as Dementia, could you write articles on it, give presentations on it, or would those be hard to get accepted? Could you eventually be considered a leading expert on that topic? Or would you simply not be as credible as a Neurologist writing about dementia? I'm not specifically talking Dementia/Neuro, substitute colon health/GI, angina/cardiology, or anything else. Thanks. (Source: Student Doctor Network)
