6 year U.S accredited foreign med school in Caribbean? or pre-med in a U.S undergraduate college?
I'm a 17 year old high school senior, and I have to apply to colleges soon. I'm interested in the health field, but I'm not 100% sure yet if I want to be either a doctor (Pediatrician) or a Physician Assistant (PA). I want to go to a U.S college and either complete pre-med or pre-pa, I might even do pre-health since I don't know which health field I want to go into. However, my Indian parents have a different outlook on my life. They're trying to force me to be a doctor, and this is not the... 6 year U.S accredited foreign med school in Caribbean? or pre-med in a U.S undergraduate college? (Source...

7-Year BS/DO--SUNY Old Westbury vs NYIT
Hi, I'm a high school junior from Long Island, NY, trying to create my college list. I've been interested in DO throughout high school, so I always thought that NYIT's 7 year BS/DO program would be a good match for me. However, I recently found out that NYCOM also has a BS/DO program with SUNY Old Westbury. I am looking for local colleges, and an SUNY would probably be less expensive than NYIT. Besides this, are there any advantages/disadvantages to SUNY OW or NYIT? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Recommendation letter from professor. She's asking for CV?
So I was asking my professor for a recommendation letter for a school I want to apply to. She said yes, but she also wants my CV or resume, transcript, and a statement of purpose to be able to write the letter better. I was just wondering for the CV, would it be addressed to the reccomender? Or is it to the college? Also is it okay to ask the same professor for recommendation letters to multiple colleges? I feel nervous to ask for so many. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Reapplicant with no interviews - Feeling depressed :/
I know people are saying that things are slow this semester, but I just don't get it. I shadowed more, I was elected president of my colleges community service club, and I got a perfect 4.0 this last semester, but I've still heard absolutely nothing from any schools aside from invitations to complete secondary applications. I know they say persistence is key to getting into dental school, but thinking of another year of meaningless biology and chemistry classes is absolutely crushing me... Why would anyone apply early decision?
Schools encourage people with stellar MCAT and GPA to apply early decision, and they usually have set minimum score requirements. This tells me that applying ED - unlike when you were applying to colleges - doesn't really "boost" your chance of admission because you'll be competing against highly competitive applicants. The only benefit - if you want to call it that - of applying ED is getting your decision earlier than other people, and that seems to be really it... .... if you get in, that... I need help/advice..
Okay so I'm currently in community college because I dropped out of high school and got my GED. I have 12 credits completed so far since this next semester begins my 2nd year. I'm hoping to transfer after this next year and go to either a 4-year college or University for Pre-Vet because I want to be a Veterinary Radiologist. Now, I've come across a list of ACVM colleges/Universities, are those only graduate veterinary schools? Not Pre Vet? So I would have to find a different Pre Vet school?... I need help/advice..
