I'm feeling hopeless about everything
I've had a not-so-great past 4 years as an undergrad at UVA (at least compared to when I was applying to colleges in high school - 4.3 cum gpa + tons of leadership and extracurriculars). I graduated back in May with my Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minored in Psychology hoping to get into medical school but I realized, I wasted my undergrad years. I have done a lot of extracurriculars (resident advisor for 3 years, student government/community work/advocacy/event planning all 4 years) and... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Is The COVID Hysteria Machine Ramping Up Again?
Colleges enforcing mask mandates and social distancing despite...zero cases. Hollywood studios requiring daily testing and contact tracing. Leaked information about TSA requiring masking for airline passengers beginning in the fall. All over a "new variant" that has not been shown to be any more lethal as yet. How far is this going to go and what proportion of the public will again complete forgo rational thought, nuanced thinking, and common sense leading into the holiday season? Community College Grades vs. 4-Year University Grades
I've been out of HS for a few years now, and the colleges I applied to said they want me to take 1 or 2 semesters at a different college and then apply again as a transfer to a 4-year undergrad university. So I'm doing 1 or 2 semesters at a community college 1st. I read on the forums here that medical schools want to know that you didn't do better at a community college than at the 4-year university. I'm doing the basic classes at the community college (like biology 1, english 1, pre-calc... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Please tell me if I am okay any advice :)
I am applying this cycle and I was wondering if I could have thoughts about my stats. I am applying to TWU, UTMB, UTEP. I feel like I am being worried for nothing but I do not know if this makes me a competitive applicant or not. I realized later on late in my Junior year I wanted to be an OT) Overall GPA (3.84) Pre-Req GPA (4.0) currently taking 2 right now for a summer class ( Some are coming from my main institution and others are coming from different Community Colleges) Shadowing ( 31...
