Career changer post-baccs chances needing insight
I am 38 years old with 2 kids. I have a Masters degree in Management Info Sciences from University of Florida(Graduated May 2006 GPA 3.5). Been working in real estate full time for several years. I always wanted to go to med school in my 20s but didn't make it for financial reasons. No clinical experience either. American board certified working in Canada? requirements?
Hi everyone. I have a good friends who is a Canadian citizen. He did his residency in the US. He tells me that in Canada, anesthesiology residency is 5 years so to have equivalent training you would need to do a fellowship to be licensed and work in Canada as an anesthesiologist. It seems like other royal colleges; however, the American board certification is acceptable and there is reciprocity (Australia, etc). Anyone have any experience with this? Just wondering for a long term...

Going from a Nurse to a Doctor
Hi! I am currently a high school senior applying to majors and colleges. I am really torn between Nursing or becoming a physician. As of now, I now I know that I will eventually be able to handle the rigor of medical school, but I am afraid of "burnout", the overall costs of medical school, and some of the personal goals I would have to sacrifice.
