CC coursework lower division?
Albert Einstein SOM asks about going to multiple colleges. Can I say that I went to community college to save money, or is that frowned upon. Any better way to word this? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

How Did You Take Biochem?
So I just need 2 more classes to complete my pre-med requirements. Physics II and Biochem. I'm working fulltime right now, so I'm only able to take night classes. It was easy for me to find a Physics II course since they have them at community colleges (I live in Dallas), but I can't find a Biochem course that would fit my schedule since they are only offered at universities. Did you anyone else face this dilemma? Are there alternatives to how I could take Biochem? Maybe an online course? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

GPAs from two undergrad institutions?
I took several college courses during my high school years and have a transcript from that college. I currently attend a different college. When applying to medical school, will I be able to combine the GPAs from both of those transcripts from the different colleges and get the average cGPA and sGPA? This would tremendously help my application since I got straight As from the first institution (a decent 4-year college) and am not doing so great at my current school (an Ivy). Being able to... UCLA vs UC Berkeley vs UC Merced
Hi everybody, I'm a transfer student from a Community College, and I was accepted to all of the UCs. I am having an incredibly hard time choosing between them, so I was hoping that I could get some advice. I didn't apply to private colleges, because I can't afford them. My favorite campus was, by far Merced. I loved the isolated campus, and the small(ish) class sizes. I've spoken to professors who told me they would get me research if I were to attend. Merced is closer to home, which means... UCLA vs UC Berkeley vs UC Merced (Source: Student Doctor Network)

CMV: Most private dental colleges are a detriment to the future of dentistry
1. They have too many seats. Most private colleges are already located in metropolitan locations where the field of dentistry is already saturated as it is. There are schools like NYU/USC/BU etc that have between 200-400 seats per graduating class. Of course, this is assuming there is the slightest correlation between where you go to school and where you end up practicing after graduation. 2. tuition is too high While corporate dentistry satisfies an economic demand, its quality of care...
