I am pleased with the rulings from Scotus this year. I think they followed the law as written and made the correct decisions:
1. Student Loan Forgiveness- Correct decision. HEROES Act was never intended to be used for all students.
2. Affirmative Action- The US constitution forbids discrimination based on race. We can't allow our schools, colleges and businesses to use race as a factor in hiring, promotions or admissions. Now, "the content of our character" becomes law.

UC Riverside Premed Vs UN Reno Premed
Hello, I am torn between UC Riverside Premed Vs UN Reno Premed as a transfer student in Jr year.
Both colleges have their respective public medical schools. Being a CA resident, I will be considered as a "Nevada applicant" by UNR’s med school if I graduate from UNR undergrad, which gives me better acceptance chances at the UNR medical school.

cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS:
SMP GPA: 3.85 (well-known SMP)
Undergraduate cGPA: 3.6
Undergraduate sGPA: 3.48
My first two years of college were horrible and were 65 credits at 2.56. I then transferred colleges and completed my most recent 210 undergraduate credits at 3.85, also including a formal post-bacc program at 3.92 of 36 credits. That's how I was able to get my undergrad cGPA up to 3.6.

What if residency match process was applied to med school admissions
What would be pros and cons.
Pros:
One date it’s all over
Everyone gets one seat
Colleges still get to interview
Horseplay is avoided
Anxiety is reduced
More Humane treatment of some of the best
Cons:
May be students don’t get to go where they would if they had multiple A’s. Well yes they would loose a bit but they will still have matched their choice.
