Is it okay to have taken classes from 4 universities?
Hey so I plan to apply to OT school next year! I am taking prerequisites right now from 2 different community colleges, but I realized that there are no community colleges (at least in Texas) that teach Abnormal Psychology. Therefore, I have to go to another school to take one. I would like to go to my alma mater but to take one class costs a little over $1300 which is drastic compared to my $160 classes from community colleges. I'm paying out of pocket so I really don't want to spend over a... Is it okay to have taken classes from 4 universities? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Is it bad to transfer colleges twice?
I want to transfer from my current undergraduate school, Rutgers, to a much smaller liberal arts school because I found that I do better academically in smaller classes. The thing is, I've already transferred before (from CUNY Brooklyn College). Would it look bad or suspicious to graduate school admissions that I transferred twice? I'm looking to go into grad school for experimental or counseling psychology, if that's useful information. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Would it be crazy for me to think of pre-vet?
Hi, I'm a high school senior who is facing graduation in May. For my entire life, I've been a good daughter, obeying my parents and doing what they've told me to do. They want me to be an accounting professor and keep the family tradition, so up until now I've been a heavily social sciences - oriented student; I applied to colleges as a business major as well. But ever since senior year started, I started to think about what my dream REALLY is. After thinking about my future thoroughly, I... Would it be crazy for me to think of pre-vet? Financial Question (Choosing Colleges - UC vs OOS)
Hi. I've done quite a bit research and I know all of the important things to keep in mind such as how your undergrad doesn't impact med school acceptance. I'm in a financial situation in which the UCs cost more for me than private out-of-state colleges because I am low income and will receive more need-based scholarships at private colleges. UC is about 9k a year for me while the privates I looked at were about 6k... My question is: Should I just go to a mid-tier UC and secure a higher... Would taking 10 years to get a bachelors degree work against me in my application?
Bottom line: I'm 26 and will finally be graduating next year with my BA. I also haven't achieved anything in the meantime except going to 3 different colleges, tried probably 6 different programs, and racked up probably 200+ credits. Okay, but I'm a non-trad though. I'm not in a rush. I aim to get into med school hopefully by 32. In the meantime, over the next 5 years I plan to actually build a resume. Hold down a job. Build up my application on the side with volunteering, shadowing,... Would taking 10 years to get a bachelors degree work against me in my application? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

wwmmkk's Master Advice Post for Applying to MPH programs (USA)
I’m finally, finally done with the whole process of applying to MPH programs. I began seriously thinking about it in February 2016. It’s been more than a year of work to get me where I am: an incoming student to Brown University School of Public Health! I used to have a side job helping high school students apply to colleges, so it was interesting being on the other side of the coin while applying for grad school. This forum was instrumental to managing my stress and... wwmmkk's Master Advice Post for Applying to MPH programs (USA) (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Any PAs or PA Students? Would Love to Hear Your Suggestions Please!
Hello! First off, I would like to thank anyone who took the time to read this and reply! This is a really important decision in my life and I wanted to get as much input as possible before deciding. I am currently trying to make a decision between pre-pa two routes. My university one of the few colleges that partnered with the US Department of Defense to host the Chinese Flagship Program. Students in this program take rigorous Chinese courses (domestic and abroad) to gain a rank “superior”... Any PAs or PA Students? Would Love to Hear Your Suggestions Please! The question is: what type of bag did you use/would recommend for optometry school, a traditional backpack or a messenger bag? I will be in the market for a new bag for school so I was just eager to see what all of you recommend or that works best! Thanks everyone!! (Source: Student Doctor Network)
