Should I plan on going into Harvard Extension School, is it a good idea? Is it worth it in my situation?
For further context, I am currently a 12th-grade high school student enrolled in my local community college. My school allows juniors and seniors to take DE credit with the neighboring college, if I continue this path I will be graduating high school with an associate's degree upon graduation (General Studies/CS Specialization). OPTION #1: Being a resident of VA, community and undergraduate colleges are actually very good about transferring credits. If I were to stay in VA and... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

I was trying to think about what to write for the adversity secondary essay and I was wondering if anyone can offer any advice on what you think would be best? illness in family (i talked about this in my personal statement so idk if I want to repeat) in high school, i always compared myself to my friends who seemed to always get good grades and got into better colleges than me even though we did the same extracurriculars, i struggled with how average i thought i was and it was... Texas Waitlist - May 15
I had 4 interviews (2 MD, 1 DO in Texas and 1 MD in OOS) and waitlisted in all of them. I did not match to any college in TMDSAS, but got an acceptance offer yesterday for the DO school. I am unable to understand May 15 date despite researching a lot. If I accept the DO school, will it automatically take me out of my Texas MD schools after May 15? If so, is there anything I can do to call the remaining two Texas colleges to see if they can decide by 15th May? On some forums, I saw that... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Undergraduate Evening Programs?
Hello friends. I see a lot of good articles which are very helpful. Thank you guys. I want to go to dental school, but I don't have time to go to school during the day due to having to provide for my family. I have to work during the day in the field I am in. It seems The only majors offered at night are majors related to the Humanities such as History and Psychology. And those mostly at community colleges and state universities. Are there any schools where I can prepare for dental school... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

My chances? advice please?
Hello Everyone, I am hoping to receive some guidance on what my chances are for embarking on my medical journey. I completed the first 2 years of my education in Golden West, Coastline, Orange coast and Mount San Jacinto Collage. The reason I went to so many colleges is because some schools didn't have the class I need to take in a certain term so I had to take it at another school. I received my AA in Labral arts Science and Math with honors from Coastline. my GPA in all college's is... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

What pharmacy schools currently still have old exams passed down to students?
How can one get ahold of these exams? Do colleges like Albany college of pharmacy or Western new England university have old exams that students get from upperclassmen? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Committing to DO schools
Would it be okay to have an acceptance at one school and a WL at another? or do I need to withdraw my WL by April 1? This is from AACOMAS website: "Starting April 1, osteopathic medical colleges are asked to report to AACOMAS the names and identification of candidates who have paid a deposit, hold a position at an osteopathic medical college entering class or both. After May 15, AACOMAS reports to each institution the names and candidates for its entering class who hold an acceptance(s)... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

AACOMAS Traffic Guidelines
I'd like to know exactly how this goes down. I've put deposits down at multiple schools at this point. I'm maintaining multiple A's because I need to find adequate housing for my growing family. Once secured, I have no problem at all withdrawing from the other schools. So, here's the language I'd like clarification on: "Starting April 1, osteopathic medical colleges are asked to report to AACOMAS the names and identification of candidates who have paid a deposit, hold a position at... No Biochemistry Offered At My School?
I go to a community college and there are no other colleges/universities in my area (for at least 90+ miles). My college does not offer biochemistry! I am really frustrated since I know I could take it online at another university, but that doesn't look great for admissions from what I've heard. HOWEVER, my school does offer a 100 level class called "Introduction to Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry." The prerequisite is General Chem 1, which I have already taken. Is this class worth... Help! Multiple colleges for undergrad and bad grades on one of them
Hi, Long story, short I went to multiple colleges for undergrad. The bad grades were from a community college (mainly math-not my best subject as it is) Im sad to admit I have an F in the same math class that I took 4ish times. Rough home life (an abusive partner at the time) and didn’t focus a whole lot on my schoolwork. Do I need to/should I retake that class at that school? Or will it matter if I take that class at another school/university? I’m 28 years old and have always wanted to be... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Iowa (Carver) vs UCF
Iowa Pros: -higher ranked and name Carries some weight for residencies (really solid match list) -more colleges and resources for competitive specialties (I’m interested in Ortho) -can do all rotations within the school’s massive hospital system -Pass/Fail (I think there’s no internal ranking but correct me if I’m wrong) Cons: -$57K OOS tuition -Very far away from Florida -Not very diverse Region or class (URM) -I’d probably have to get rid of my 5.0 mustang 🤣 UCF Pros...
