Stuck between two colleges
I have a 3.85 GPA from Arizona State University, but it’s an online degree - I live in Georgia. Originally wanted to be a PA, but decided to go the MD route or I’d forever regret it. Now I’m deciding between which college to go to. Here are my choices: University of Georgia PROS: highly respected university in the southeast, tons of research opportunities with publishing opportunities, more rigorous work to better prepare me for med school, amazing culture and lifestyle, great sports teams... What ’s the next logical step? (Advice)
To whomever is willing to impart advice, I ask what should my next steps be? What would your next steps be? Apologize beforehand for the longer than usual post on here but I’d like to give you a sense of me as to better direct your advice. Thank you. I graduated from the University of Georgia (go dawgs), this past fall, with a 3.08 overall GPA and a 2.8 science GPA. Prior to attending UGA in the fall of 2015, I attended other colleges in the state and came in with a 3.71 GPA. I’d say I did... What’s the next logical step? Has my DIY Post-Bac been sufficent or lacking?
Hey all I've been taking classes originally to grade replace but that turned into a DIY post bac. Essentially out of science classes to take now so was wondering where I stood. All of these have been at community colleges. Please feel free to be brutally honest. Please note I have two jobs and work full time to support myself so it's been 1 to 2 classes at a time. Under Graduate: 3.0 cumulative, 2.7 SCI Post-bac: 29 credits 3.9 cumulative 3.9 SCI Total combined 3.22 cumulative 3.07... Has my DIY Post-Bac been sufficent or lacking? College Mental Health Careers?
So I was reading this article the other day about access to mental health for college students: As mental health crises soar, colleges can't meet student needs We do have a college psychiatry experience in residency (which I have not done yet), however I feel like we don't hear a lot about it as a career. In terms of patient population: higher functioning, low medical co-morbidity, first break mania/psychosis,... College Mental Health Careers? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Non-traditional Student Advice
To spare you the vague cliches of why I'm choosing to go into medicine at 24 years old, I'll just simply ask for some advice. Long story short: I'm attending college online (yes, from a great, regionally accredited university) and I know prerequisites being done online is a no-no for a lot of colleges. This being the case, can I finish my undergraduate degree online, take all my prerequisites at a community college, then get into a good med school? More so, can I get into a good med... Do you think it would be possible to do an online masters in education during med school?
I wanted to look into teaching. Not just clinical teaching, but classroom teaching, perhaps at community colleges. I see myself teaching maybe 1 or 2 courses per semester when i'm a lot older. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Prerequisite for Pharmacy Schools
Hello! I am interested in applying for pharmacy schools and many of my science classes are expired. What is the quickest way to take the prerequisite classes without waiting so long to get in them? I'm looking at the classes at the local community colleges but I am very afraid that I might not be able to get in the classes quick enough. I want to take the classes and get them over within 1.5 years. Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you! (Source: Student Doctor Network)
