Cambridge medicine applications and UMS - do I have a chance?

Thread Starter Cambridge medicine applications and UMS - do I have a chance? Follow 5 hours ago 5h ago Hi everyone! I know there are some similar questions out there but if you can help please do... I would absolutely love to apply to Cambridge for medicine. I have strong GCSEs (although I have a B in Addmaths) and my A level subjects are biology, chemistry, maths and history. The only AS I took this year was maths, and this is what I'm worried about, as I averaged 89 UMS which I know isn't especially high for medicine at Cambridge. People have been saying so many different things about the importance of UMS grades (some have been saying this is still the most important thing for Cambridge, others have been saying they don't look at it at all now not many people do AS) and I would just really like to know to what extent my UMS score might limit my application and if any colleges place less emphasis on UMS. Thank you!
