Military PA to MD
Hello everyone!
I am currently finishing my time as a military PA and will be retiring in almost 2 years, I had previously considered medical school but as it is the norm with most of us non trads life (wife, kids, work, war, etc) took us in a different route away from our dreams. I joined right after 9-11 at the age of 17 and I am due to retire at 40. My journey into medicine has been exciting but I feel I can give more and want to give more.

Differential diagnosis resources for ADHD vs trauma vs autism
Hello, the primary focus of my training and work has been with forensic assessment. I am fairly confident in my skills for performing differential diagnosis with psychosis based disorders vs substance use vs personality disorders vs something else.

Do you feel people get drastically better with psychiatry
Please hear me out on this. I'm 100% not a troll. I'm choosing between peds and psych (child psych) very soon. I think both are incredibly interesting for different reasons and am currently on an inpatient CAP elective to gain more experience. I'll be doing several more CAP electives but this will be after I've already had to decide.
The reason that I'm presently drawn away from psych is that I have only been around the sickest patients in both this rotation and my adult inpatient rotation...
