Withdrawal of high-carbohydrate high-fat diet alters status of trace elements to ameliorate metabolic syndrome in rat
ConclusionConsumption of HCHF-diet for a long time leads to alteration of TE profile in serum, liver, and feces during MetS, which is reversed upon dietary intervention and this, can be correlated with their concentrations in HCHF and basal diet and hence can contribute to the proper dietary control of this global issue.
