91-Year-Old Woman With Hyperkalemia
A 91-year-old woman presented to the clinic with nighttime delirium and dysuria. The patient's medical history was provided by the patient and her daughter. Her medical history was significant for coronary artery disease, heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obstructive sleep apnea, hypothyroidism, chronic kidney disease (CKD) stage 3b, chronic constipation, and depression. Her medications included levothyroxine, paroxetine, melatonin, cyanocobalamin, as-needed loratadine, and as-needed polyethylene glycol.
