Characterization of Ceftriaxone-Resistant < em > Haemophilus influenzae < /em > Among Korean Children
CONCLUSION: The emergence of ceftriaxone-resistant H. influenzae with ceftriaxone MIC values of up to 0.75 mg/L was observed even in children in South Korea, with most associated with S385T and L389F substitutions. The N526K mutation alone does not significantly impact ceftriaxone resistance. Interim Estimates of 2023-2024 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine Effectiveness Among Adults in Korea
In this study, we aimed to estimate the interim vaccine effectiveness (VE) of the influenza vaccination to prevent influenza during the early season. From November 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, we enrolled 2,632 subjects with influenza-like illness from eight hospitals participating in hospital-based influenza morbidity and mortality surveillance. Temporal trends and the association between self-rated oral health and falls in community-dwelling older adults in South Korea: a secondary analysis of survey data

Cross-Cultural Validation and the Psychometric Properties of the Korean Version of the Brief Religious Coping Scale

The global impact of SARS-CoV-2 variant BA.2.86: a comprehensive analysis with the latest developments and transmission trends - an epidemiological study
CONCLUSIONS: The SARS-CoV-2, novel variant BA.2.86, spread over six continents and 89 countries and affected 19,532 people worldwide. The disease is more prevalent in the United Kingdom, United States of America, and European countries. The detection of the disease in multiple continents and countries suggests some degree of transmissibility.
