Effect of Nicorandil, Diltiazem, or Isosorbide Mononitrate for Oral Antispastic Therapy After Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting Using Radial Artery Grafts —A Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial (ASRAB-Pilot): Rationale and Study Protocol
ConclusionThis pilot trial will compare the preliminary effects of nicorandil, diltiazem, and isosorbide mononitrate on angiographic and clinical outcomes in patients who have undergone RA-CABG. Recruitment began in June 2020, and the estimated primary completion date is early 2023. Results of this study will provide much needed information for design of large confirmatory trials on the effectiveness of oral antispastic medications after RA-CABG.

To the Editor The electrocardiogram (ECG) presented by Dr Cai and colleagues is indeed a great challenge. Two days after a fall, an older patient was admitted to the hospital with a hip fracture that was treated by external fixation and skin traction. On hospital day 2, the patient suddenly lost consciousness. An ECG immediately performed showed giant negative T waves (>20 mm) in the precordial leads and a QTc prolongation of 535 milliseconds. Microsurgical revascularization of a symptomatic proximal vertebral artery: pilot experiences from a single center
ConclusionMicrosurgical reconstruction is an alternative option that can effectively treat refractory proximal VASO disease and in-stent stenosis, with a high rate of postoperative vascular recirculation. Prospective cohort studies with larger sample sizes must be conducted to validate the above conclusions.

ConclusionsFusion imaging is an easy method to access and acquire measurements for critical care patients and follow-up of tissue and vascular displacement after stroke. Fusion imaging may be a decisive support for indicating hemicraniectomy.

Novel technique of stent placement via gateway balloon in intracranial atherosclerosis-associated large vessel occlusion
CONCLUSION: Our preliminary experience suggests possible safety and feasibility of deploying Neuroform Atlas stent through a compatible Gateway balloon microcatheter without the need for ICH-associated microcatheter exchange.
