Relationship Between Bone Mass And Muscle Weakness In Chronic Neurological Diseases (P3.036)
Conclusions: This study demonstrates greater commitment tendency to bone density in regions with weakness, compared to those without it, this could be related to disuse. Effectiveness of music-based interventions on motricity or cognitive functioning in neurological populations: a systematic review.
CONCLUSIONSː Variety of modalities using music-based interventions has been identified and grouped into four clusters. Effects of interventions demonstrate an improvement in the domains assessed. Evidence is most available for improving motricity in stroke. More studies are warranted to investigate cognition as well as motor and cognition dysfunctions in combination.

Do patients with thalamic pain have a specific somatosensory phenotype? (P1.222)
Conclusions:The somatosensory phenotype of the CPSP patients was characterized by reduced sensation for vibration and light touch on the affected side. These patients showed mechanical hyperalgesia and more pronounced hypoesthesia, but no temperature perception abnormalities, compared to the control patients. We present a video case of impressive left ankle clonus in a patient with old right middle cerebral artery stroke.
Clonus is a series of involuntary, rhythmic, muscular contractions, and relaxations. It may be caused by interruption of the upper motor neuron fibers such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, or by metabolic alterations such as severe hepatic failure or serotonin syndrome. While neuro-recovery is maximized through active engagement, it has been suggested that the use of robotic exoskeletons in neuro-rehabilitation provides passive therapy.
