Association of visit-to-visit variability in blood pressure and first stroke risk in hypertensive patients with chronic kidney disease
Conclusion: In hypertensive adults with mild-to-moderate CKD, visit-to-visit variability in BP was significantly associated with the risk of subsequent first stroke.

Hypertension Among Hemorrhagic Stroke Patients in Northeast China: A Population-Based Study 2017-2019.
CONCLUSIONS The high prevalence of uncontrolled hypertension and high rates of blood pressure at stages 2 and 3 in patients with prior hemorrhagic stroke indicated a considerable stroke burden in northeast China. Inhibition of Calcium/Calmodulin-Dependent Protein Kinase Kinase {beta} and Calcium/Calmodulin-Dependent Protein Kinase IV Is Detrimental in Cerebral Ischemia Basic Sciences
Conclusions— Our data have established that the CaMKK/CaMK IV pathway is a key endogenous protective mechanism in ischemia. Our results suggest that this pathway serves as an important regulator of blood–brain barrier integrity and transcriptional activation of neuroprotective molecules in stroke.

Interpretable machine learning for predicting 28-day all-cause in-hospital mortality for hypertensive ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke patients in the ICU: a multi-center retrospective cohort study with internal and external cross-validation
ConclusionsThe XGBoost model accurately predicted 28-day all-cause in-hospital mortality among hypertensive ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke patients admitted to the ICU. The SHAP method can provide explicit explanations of personalized risk prediction, which can aid physicians in understanding the model.
