Are We Aware of the Neurological Manifestations of Cytomegalovirus Infection in Immunocompetent Individuals?
Conclusion: CMV infection should be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients presenting with neurological symptoms, even among immunocompetent individuals, because of the high possibility that patients can greatly benefit from antiviral treatment at the early stage.

COVID-19 Continuous-EEG Case Series: A Descriptive Study
Conclusions: In this observational case series of 16 patients with COVID-19 who were monitored with continuous video-EEG, most patients experienced a nonspecific encephalopathy. Clinical seizures and electrographic status epilepticus were the second most commonly observed neurological problem.

We present a case of AE with dual seropositive antibodies of LGI1 and mGluR5 in a 65-year-old woman who presented with sudden onset left faciobrachial dystonic seizures and unresponsive for 5 hours. Bilateral ballism as limb-shaking transient ischemic attacks treated with unilateral carotid artery stent placement
A man in his 80s with no medical history and a heavy smoking habit experienced a sudden involuntary movement of the bilateral limbs, trunk, and tongue. He had mild dysarthria, and could not eat (Video 1). Symptoms lasted for several hours and days, with frequent onset during the day. No consciousness impairments, paralysis, or sensory disturbances were observed. Physical examination and laboratory data did not indicate meningitis, encephalitis, post-infectious causes, or autoimmune disorders.The electroencephalogram showed no abnormalities.

Neurological Manifestations and Their Effect on Outcome in Second Wave of COVID-19 Pandemic: A Retrospective Cohort Study
CONCLUSION: The presence of neurological manifestations is associated with greater morbidity and mortality in patients with COVID-19 and thus warrants more aggressive treatment.
