Congenital thrombophilia in East-Asian venous thromboembolism population: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: The prevalence of PC, PS, and AT deficiencies was relatively high, while a much lower prevalence of FVL and prothrombin G20210A mutations were identified in East-Asian patients with VTE. Impact of the lipase inhibitor orlistat on the human gut microbiota
This study aimed to explore the effects of orlistat on the gut microbiota and fatty acid metabolism of Japanese individuals with obesity. Fourteen subjects with visceral fat obesity (waist circumference ≥85 cm) took orlistat orally at a dose of 60 mg, 3 times a day for 8 weeks. Clinical Study of Percutaneous Endoscopic Large-channel Fusion and Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion in the Treatment of Degenerative Lumbar Spinal Stenosis
CONCLUSIONS: Both percutaneous, endoscopic, large-channel fusion and TLIF had good therapeutic effects in the treatment of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis. However, compared with the latter, the former was more effective, with better comprehensive efficacy and more obvious benefits for patients, so it's worthy of clinical promotion and use.PMID:37678853
