Is this a feasible way to push back from Mid-level encroachment?
I have been interested in anesthesia for a long time, I love the skill set of an anesthesiologist and I find the pharmacology/physiology of the field extremely fascinating and rewarding. Drugs and pharmacology during a code
Hello friends. I'm an EM resident right now, had to respond to a code on the ward the other night by myself and we got the patient back, however I did some stuff that isn't technically ACLS and was wondering if I could get some thoughts from the people that understand drugs more than me.

Pharmacology Towards Science GPA?

It says "Pharmacy and Pharmacology" under "Health and Science" and not in the orange box. Does pharmacology really not count towards science GPA? This would be a pretty big hit to my GPA since I've gotten A's in most of my upper level science courses that have brought my science GPA up.

Pharmacology question HELP
For doxycycline, more than 90% of the drug is bound to plasma proteins. It is also known that this drug is almost completely absorbed from the GI tract.
I thought that drugs bound to plasma proteins cannot be absorbed to be distributed to the tissues. If more than 90% are bound to plasma proteins, how can doxycycline be almost completely absorbed from GI tract?
