Class Question
Not really a WAMC post but I don’t know where to post this. So I’m doing a masters program and I need a little help finalizing a couple classes this semester. In my first semester I took physiology, cell bio, and topics in pharmacology. This semester I’m currently signed up for dental histology, biochemistry, and fundamentals of pharmacology. I feel like the teachers for the biochem class are being ridiculous and I don’t want to risk my gpa so I was thinking of switching up the biochem class... Clinical research as clinical experience? Please help
Hello dear SDN, I am a first time applicant and I would really appreciate some advice! I have been asked to list my most significant clinical experience. I got a graduate degree in clinical pharmacology and I was based in the cath lab of a teaching hospital. My study required me to take blood samples and then insert a catheter (done by my supervisor) )into my research participants brachial arteries for drug infusion. I am unsure whether I can put it as a significant clinical experience... Clinical research as clinical experience? Please help (Source: Student Doctor Network)

School List Request: Mid 20s, 3.3 GPA, 499 MCAT
Hello. To preface, I’m aware my numbers are on shaky ground, so we can get that out of the way. However, I think my numbers fall within some parameters for DO admission, especially when combined with my experiences. I’m in my mid 20s and graduated college four-ish years ago. The 3.3 cGPA was done with extensive post-bacc repair from a 3.0 via advanced science courses - genetics, pharmacology and the like. The 499 unfortunately comes from multiple retakes, including with the new COVID... School List Request: Mid 20s, 3.3 GPA, 499 MCAT (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Excellent new exam resource (SAQs)
Ketamine Nightmares An Australian Anaesthetic Trainee has created a website with some prior exam questions/answers available to the general training community. Probably more useful for non-US trainees as I think US training isn't very heavy on Essay/Short Answer Question (SAQ) assessments. It's a good website with reasonable coverage of the Primary curriculum (physiology, pharmacology and equipment). Adequate depth to score a solid pass (3/5) for most... Tulane MS in Microbiology & Immunology Program info
I realize that there are tons of forums for the other Tulane MS programs but there is not one with sufficient information on their micro & immunology program. I was recently accepted and received some info from the program director and wanted to share it to help anyone applying to postbac programs. The program is new (~5 years) and is VERY comparable to their other MS programs like anatomy, pharmacology, biochemistry, cell & mol bio. It piggybacks off the structure and objectives of these...
