Clinical research as clinical experience? Please help
Hello dear SDN,
I am a first time applicant and I would really appreciate some advice! I have been asked to list my most significant clinical experience. I got a graduate degree in clinical pharmacology and I was based in the cath lab of a teaching hospital. My study required me to take blood samples and then insert a catheter (done by my supervisor) )into my research participants brachial arteries for drug infusion. School List Request: Mid 20s, 3.3 GPA, 499 MCAT
Hello.
To preface, I’m aware my numbers are on shaky ground, so we can get that out of the way.
However, I think my numbers fall within some parameters for DO admission, especially when combined with my experiences.
I’m in my mid 20s and graduated college four-ish years ago. The 3.3 cGPA was done with extensive post-bacc repair from a 3.0 via advanced science courses - genetics, pharmacology and the like.
The 499 unfortunately comes from multiple retakes, including with the new COVID...

Hello all,
I'm trying to register for the Fall semester and would like to get some advice from you guys!
I've taken pretty much all the prerequisites, and the remaining classes I'm interested in are:
Neuropsychopharmacology vs. Pharmacology
Molecular Toxicology
Parasitology
Other than pure science classes like Anatomy, Pathology, etc..., I'm not sure if these classes are offered in med school or related to Medicine at all.
