Walgreens billing questions
Can somebody please explain in simple terms how the heck you bill test strips and diabetic supplies to Medicare properly? I always get these TPR rejects about "CMN form" that I'm not sure how to explain to the customer. All this stuff about chargebacks and diagnosis codes and Medicare supplements and stuff go over right over my head. Also similar problem with nebulizers and masks. WTF is up with those. Also, if anyone here works in New Jersey, can someone please explain this whole deal... Walgreens billing questions (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Surgery Rotations with Diabetes
Does anyone here with type 1 diabetes have sage advice/experiences they could share in terms of completing their surgery rotation(s)? How did you talk to your attendings/preceptors about it? Did you just go through the school and their disability resources? Any help or insight is much appreciated! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Uncomfortable with the diabetic foot
Hi all, After shadowing a podiatrist, I realized I am quite uncomfortable with diabetic foot wounds and ulcers. If I go down this path of becoming a podiatrist, is there any way I can avoid seeing patients with diabetes? What about during residency? My mentality might change down the line, but as of now I can't help but cringe when I see diabetic foot wounds. (Source: Student Doctor Network)
