FACE-Q Patient Report-Assisted Subjective and Objective Evaluation of Blepharoplasty Outcomes Using Two Different Suturing Techniques: A Randomized and Patient-Blinded Pilot Study
ConclusionIn conclusion, this study shows that post operative patient satisfaction is independent of suturing technique, but depends on baseline FACE-Q reports. Comparison of pain between first and second operated eyelids after upper eyelid blepharoplasty
CONCLUSION: To the best of our knowledge, this study is the first to evaluate which eyelid is more painful during surgery in UEB. Patients tend to feel more pain during surgery on the second operated eyelid. Effect of Upper Lid Blepharoplasty Surgery on Corneal Topography and Corneal High-Order Aberrations
The objective of this study was to prospectively investigate the effect of upper eyelid blepharoplasty surgery for dermatochalasis on corneal topographic data and high-order aberrations (HOAs). Fifty eyelids of 50 patients with dermatochalasis who underwent upper lid blepharoplasty surgery were prospectively studied. A Pentacam (Scheimpflug camera, Oculus) device was used to measure corneal topographic values, astigmatism degree, and HOAs before and at 2 months after upper eyelid blepharoplasty.
