OAT Breakdown (LONG POST!)
Hi! I have been following the forum for a while and it has helped me out a lot. I took the OAT today and would like to put my experience out there and hopefully this could help someone. First, these are the resources I used: (from most useful to least) -Khan Academy: The best resource out there for anyone taking a Pre-Health exam. They have everything; physics, Gchem, Ochem, Bio... I personally watched the videos at 1.5x speed because I think Sal talks slow. The best part is that... OAT Breakdown (LONG POST!) (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Statistics for the MCAT
I'm posting this here so I can get more answers and because this is both for the MCAT and in general learning. If I want to learn statistics by myself (like, whats on the MCAT and what type of statistics might be important to know in general), what are the best resources to self prep? I know of Khan academy but are there any recommended resources that helped anyone else? Followup, does biostatistics overlap with general statistics and help? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Made A Stupid Mistake
TL;DR: Pretty much what I am asking, is it possible to go through Khan Academy, paired with other videos, to fill in content and score well? I am studying a little bit every day and using Anki to keep things memorized. It is just so stressful trying to figure out a schedule, due to making stupid mistakes in undergrad. Okay... Strap in for the long haul, its going to be an interesting one. I received news today that I have a chance to attend a local MD school, if I score a specific MCAT... Biochemistry I resources
Calling all SDNers for help! I'm taking Biochemistry I right now, and don't plan on taking any further biochemistry classes. However, our book is kind of confusing and our teacher is ok, but kind of confusing as well. What online resources do any of you have to teach oneself Biochem? I'm going to try reading the book/following along in lecture but just in case, I'd like to have a few resources. I've googled it and seen lecturio and Khan academy, but which resource would be best? QR Section
So the new updated Ari's Study Schedule uses a compilation of Khan Academy's math videos. I've used Chad's before and still have his notes but my understanding of QR didn't really improve so I don't really want to purchase it again. What videos/other resources are you guys using for QR? (btw, QR is my weakest subject) (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Need Advice 4 MCAT
Hey everyone! I wanted to get your input on what materials I should get and how to study while being a full time student. I was planning on getting the Kaplan full set with the flash cards + AMCAS materials and go through that with khan academy. Is that okay? Also, does anyone have any advice on studying for the mcat during school. I was planning on taking it in march and start studying in December after 1st semester so I can use the winter break and first two months of 2nd semester. The... Can anyone achieve a 520+ on the MCAT?
I apologize in advance if this is a really dumb question, but I've been thinking about this a lot lately and would like your input on this. Given ANY average undergraduate student that is passionate about going to medical school, with sufficient and effective studying, do you think anyone can achieve a 520+ ? With good resources like Khan Academy, Princeton, Kaplan and Exam Krackers as a guide for studying, good time management, a healthy and good mindset, and actual study... Good CARS practice
I've been using Khan Academy's CARS passages. From everything that I've read, the questions are right on the money, but the passages themselves are a bit too easy. Does anyone know where I can find a good repository of CARS passages that have appropriate passages and questions? Thank you! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Khan Academy
Given that I never took a psych/ soc class, are Khan Academy's psych/soc videos enough supplemented with Kaplan/ TPR's behavioral book? Thanks! (Source: Student Doctor Network)
