Just wanted to drop by to give some motivation to the retakers out there. I got less than 50th percentile on my first MCAT attempt. How to Study for the MCAT, by a tutor and 525 scorer
by Trev_K (Posted Mon Jan 28, 2019 3:57 pm) I just posted a long version of this on my tutoring website (trevorkleetutor.com/boston-mcat-prep), but here's the short version. As a professional tutor, I can safely say that the MCAT is a really hard exam. It's chock full of content, and it requires you to be good at doing questions (which is not the same thing as knowing content). That's tough! In order to study for the MCAT, you need to act like a marathon runner, and like a coach of a runner. What do I mean? Well, you will need to put miles on the pavement (aka do questions and content review), first and foremost. You can't su...
