UCVM c/o 2026
I know it's super early to start this thread, but since they've added the MCAT starting this cycle, I figured it would be appropriate. Since invites for c/o 2025 have already gone out, people who didn't get admitted are likely now beginning to study for MCAT, and first time applicants may have began studying for MCAT as early as March, when UCVM released the new application guidelines. So you may want to discuss that (and study strategies) in here! Also Khan Academy has free MCAT study... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

MCAT Preparation?
Hello everyone! I'm currently a (now) P2 in pharmacy school looking to take the MCAT. Has anyone used Khan Academy's MCAT course to prepare themselves? I have the 2019 7 book Kaplan series, and I planned on doing this side by side with Khan Academy. If you did this, how well were your scores? Thanks! (Source: Student Doctor Network)

General Practioner?
I am a psychiatrist, I like psychiatry but miss the rest of medicine. I applied for FP and IM and due to funding reasons (along with I just passed board scores), I never matched into FP or IM. I ran across this and wondered if anyone had any knowledge or experience? American Academy of General Physicians – Official AAGP Website (aagp-academy.org) (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Dental School as a Kinesiology Major
My question is: -Will my major be considered not as rigorous? I chose Kinesiology because I feel like Kinesiology would be a more "macro" study where I can utilize all my studies in a real-life setting (ex. for my job as an ER scribe) as opposed to the typical "micro" study that biology majors have. I also went to a Sports Medicine academy for high school and was in rehab for many, many months for my achilles which lead me to my choosing of Kinesiology. -Will dental schools see my Ws and... Physical therapy approaches to lower extremity.
Hello everyone. I am student jn a PT program about to go out to my first clinical. Will have all of ortho done by the time the first clinical starts. I received a email from the academy of Orthopaedic physcial therapy for some self study courses and one was for the lower extremity ortho movement system examinations. I was wondering is this material too advanced for a student? Or will it work as a good tool for refreshing and advancing my knowledge of the lower extremity. Thank you! Study Plan
Hey guys! So, I was wondering what Anki decks are the best for content review. My plan is to use Anki solely for content review and watch Khan Academy videos on concepts I’m not comfortable with, and do all of the practice questions in my TBR books. I feel like reading takes me too forever, but I like being interactive with Anki or watching videos. I also plan on taking 9 FL’s before my exam date. Do you guys think that’s a solid plan? Khan Academy MCAT
Khan Academy said "This course is no longer being maintained or updated. After September 30, 2021, it will no longer be available" when talking about their MCAT material. But even after September 30, will all the videos and practice problems still be available? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Khan Academy/AAMC ending its course in 2021... that was short
So in 2015 when the new MCAT came out, the Khan Academy partnered with the AAMC to make a comprehensive course with everything you need to know for the MCAT including actually GOOD practice questions/passages (as opposed to a lot of commercial supplement's practice questions, which are imo either way to hard or way to easy) I'm curious what SDN community thinks of this, did you guys ever use it? I'm sad to see it go and feel bad for future people who can't take advantage of this free... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Khan Academy P/S passage question (Title: Is obesity contagious?)
Hello! Could anyone help me with this question from a PS passage from Khan Academy? Basically, for Question 4, I was between C and D and could not decide which one. D makes sense, but I couldn't have guessed it in the first place. The passage does not define what homophily means, but I assume they would expect me to reason my way to the answer, not to know what "homophily" mean in the first place. So, is there any psychosocial concept related to this that I 'suppose' to know? Is it always... Read more (Source: Student Doctor Network)
